Hey

I'm gonna try snowboarding for the first time this year. I'm probably not gonna buy a board or boots this season. But what clothing and such should I invest in?

Also where's a good place to purchase?

Tried using anti-fog spray. I use them for ice hockey. Similar principle

You wiped off all the anti fogging coating. When you get moisture inside yu are suppose to dab the moisture. The heat from your face will dry the rest of the moisture. Anti fog spray works also or if you cheap just spit in it.

i've been away from snowboarding for about 3 years now so im just as noob as a beginner.

but anyways i've left my snowboard in my garage for 3 full years without doing any type of treatment/wax/tuning... where would be a good place to get it done? the board i have was given to me but the bindings (technine) are shit, they keep coming loose. what type of bindings would be good for it?? and where would be a good place to pick up a helmet?

planning to hit up cypress and possibly whistler this season!! olympic upgrades!!

thanks

boardroom has good prices on old / last years gear.

with waxing, try sportchek/or any snowboard shop, it should run you 25-35 dollars

They're opened till 4pm today. Snow report says it snowed 10cm in the last 24 hrs and it is minus 2 up there right now.

BTW, I don't know if anyone has mentioned, Cypress has SkiCards available at certain Bell stores for $55 after taxes. That actually gets you 1 free lift ticket, and 20%+ off every time you buy a lift ticket the rest of the season. (On average, $9 off every time you go, day or night passes)

Whistler is where it's at though, been snowing solid the last couple of days, 27cm in the last 24 hrs and also snowing heavy starting this afternoon. It's minus 8 in the alphine currently.

Does anyone know if Replay Sports has shut down?
I went there and there was a sign saying about some contract.
Their number is out of service.

do you ever put them on your head?

if you do, water gets in them and they fog.

I never take off my goggles while riding. Always leave them on my face and every single pair of my like 8 goggles don't fog.

Or you're just not going fast enough.
