huh. it's a little different from the one i saw:  
there will be a 7spd DSG offered, and some more attempts to shed weight.

acutally, there are mk6's on the road now. westminster vw had a bunch of mk6 jetta wagons delivered, and on one of the vw boards someone took pics of an mk6 gti on a vw lot in ontario...

Actually looking into getting a mk6 gti myself, wanted the genesis 2.0T but gti is so much more practical That rear bumper reminds me of the kia soul

so its perfectly normal for VW to be dreaming up mk7...i wont be surprised if theyve been working on mk7 since mkv's midlife :P
looks a bit too sharp for the Golf but definately interesting look
