Raising interest will further drive CAD up. The thing is US can't increase while Canada is in need of a raise. It's gonna stay up I predict.

As a buyer, they're great and convenient. As a seller, you get fees charged up the ass.

As stated before, US just rising because everyone is leaving EU market and going into the "safer" US market.

Greece, portugal, spain are basically fucking everyone in the EU and making investors uber nervous.

Yeah, I was planning on going south for the long weekend.

I went down last when the exchange rate was higher, so I have a bit of American money from that trip. Should have jumped on the greenbacks more when I had the chance.

Who knows? The downward trend may be short lived. Level out at 95 or so would be nice.

I'm glad someone picked up on my subtle hint at Germany.

Though I am certain they will bail them out. Germany has a lot invested into Greece. Well more like Greece invests a lot in Germany so it would be mutually beneficial.

Oh well... at least I got some benefit out of it.

Wanted to take more than three grand out of my PayPal, and just 2-3 days ago, their USD-CAD exchange rate was actually under par, at at like 0.99... but today, it's over 1.04... just withdrew my money right now... it's like more than $150 earned. Woohoo!

Canadian dollar has been above par twice in my lifetime.

Edit: My bad. I just researched it. God damn it. It's a common thing. Over par 10 times in the past three years. WTF?

Our dollar over the American dollar for 3 years and 4 months in the early 70's.
