anyone know where to alter waist jeans

i have a few pairs of jeans that need altering in the waist
i lost some weight and they are like 2 inches too big for me

anyone know where the best place is and how much it should cost approx?

How do you exactly alter the waist? I don't think that's possible. Maybe try the dryer, but that might shrink the length of the jeans.

it is possible... I lost a bunch of weight years ago, and had to get all my pants taken in, should cost around $10-$15. If theyre really worn out, inexpensive pants, i wouldnt bother and just get new pants. From my experience, the pants fit kinda weird after...

^ They will fit really weird after. Don't bother. Sell the jeans if they're expensive; otherwise, just get new ones.

I'm just bumping up a dead thread instead of creating a new one.

Does anybody know where I can get my dress tailored pants altered in the waist? I have a 2 finger gap and i really don't want to shrink it because it might shrink the length.

Oakridge Tailors on Cambie.
