The Brick- How to deal with them

Im trying to buy a fridge since BC Hydro is offering the incentive program for old fridge pickup..

anyways, I went to the brick, and the price seems decent.. any ex employee got tips on what i should do to bargain? The 70$ delivery seems pretty hefty considering I live only <2km away from them.

anyone else suggest where I should look for fridges? Futureshop was too expensive and offered crap service...

try trail appliances

bargain hard. you can usually get delivery cut down or even for free.

when i moved out, i didn't have to pay delivery on one piece of furniture.

there is a maytag fridge that sells for 699. You think 700 taxed in with free shipping is too much/too little or around the right price i can get?

i've heard the brick doesnt do bargain anymore since the recession. Friend's dad works there, and we used to get family/employee discounts, but he just cant do it anymore, management refuses.

But hopefully u can work something out with shipping charge.

FYI though ... The Brick has a No Return Policy - Once you're out the door with the product that's it ...
