COOKIES!

So, I made an attempt about a week ago to make cookies... had some... technical difficulties... and... um... yeah... this was the result.

It tasted good, but was 2 cookies, instead of multiple individual cookies.

So, I made another attempt tonight, and here was the result!

whats wrong with a single large cookie like the first batch?

i see nothing wrong with it, just break up the pieces while the cookie is still soft, so right out of the oven.

Alatar 10-23-2009 02:56 PM

I used the cookie from the first attempt to make cookie-whipped cream sandwiches. Turned fail into EPIC.

You should have made "special" cookies

Is there anything more delicious then cookies fresh out of the oven?

jtanner_ 10-23-2009 05:29 PM

I'm not into any "special" ingredients, so, no. Anything I bake is simply because I enjoy fresh from the oven baked goods. :)

what kind of cookies are the first batch?

the second batch is all chocolate chips..

Alatar 10-24-2009 08:12 AM

The first batch was chocolate chip.

The second batch was chewy pecan white and milk chocolate chip.

if you're using butter or margarine in your baking, make sure to leave lots of space around the cookies as it will spread (as you have experienced already), using shortening will reduce spreading.

NiceGirl 10-25-2009 11:28 PM

get some vanilla ice cream and put it in between two warm cookies.. omg so good.

Alatar 10-26-2009 01:43 PM

I used whipped cream instead of ice cream. Same general effect, total bliss.
