black tie event question a coworker has been invited to a black tie event for some sort of fundraising event, and he has nothing to wear. we're assuming that black tie means tuxedo and a bow tie? can anyone recommend a place that rents or sells these? |
A black suit is sufficient enough depending on how elegant the evening is. But it is Vancouver, so a tux is not needed. |

Black-tie in England means bow-tie and tux for sure. Here in Vancouver, it really depends, but if he was told it was a bow-tie affair. It's going to be a tux. What bout Black and Lee? Got my HS tux there MANY MANY years back lol. Quick google search : http://www.thetuxstore.com/home.html |
