VW Citi

Did you know that you could still buy first generation (yes the ones from the '70s) brand new in South Africa?

They sell for about $12,000 CDN.

I believe they have stopped production on the Mk1's recently and is being replaced by the new golfs apparently.

VW likes to milk their products. the old beetle, essential, was the same model for 60 years.

^^ That's pretty cool of VW to do that.

I wish some other car manufacturers could do the same with some old school cars that I really liked

i believe the production of the mk1 has officially ended as of a month or so ago...

would have to wait 15 years at least to import one of these... but to say the least it would be pretty cool/unique to have a brand new mk1...
