To go with the theme RICE!

at least you can eat it after
not like sand... I'll just end up throwing it in my speakers at home... not much use there, or letting a cat take a shit in it.

I have to park on the street b/c I don't have a garage so if the snow piles up I won't be able to get out. If I salt my parking spot, then somebody will jack my spot when I leave or I'll have to salt the whole fuckin street.

Somebody suggested bricks, but i'm afraid it'll rip up my trunk and it'll move around and might damage something.

I'm guessing rice is the same idea as sand bags, but how many pounds will be effective? I'm not sure where I can purchase sand bags, and are they affordable?

I put nothing in. And all I've owned are RWD cars. If this is for preparation for the snow, I would suggest getting at the very least 2 snow tires for the rear. 4 for even more awesomeness.

I don't know anyone with a RWD that puts weights in the back. Just get winter tires and you'll be fine.

Yah i've got 4 ContiWinterContact™ TS 810 Sport. I was doing okay last year but got stuck in small streets. Whenever I got stuck I just told somebody to sit on my trunk and away I go!

Thanks guys!

Buddy shovels snow into the back of his truck. Lol

I would rather put rice in the trunk than sand because how hard would rice be to clean up if a little spilled? Sand is a TOTAL PAIN IN THE ASS to clean out. It just gets right into the carpet.

buy snow tires on steelies and use those.
put your summer rims and tires in your trunk. as many as you can fit.
chain together to prevent theft.
leave space for a big bag of salt, a shovel and a blanket in your trunk.
