What do u guys do with new clothes just bought from the store?

So say you just bought some new clothes, do u guys usually give it a wash first then wear it or wear it right away after cutting the tags off? Even if shirts are new, they might have been tried on by ppl in the stores. I wanna hear ur ideas on this. Thanks!

I generally wash it to let the dies and other chemicals that are harmful to your skin wash away.

Depends on the store for me. If I'm worried about catching some disease because it's a pretty skanky store, I'll wash it first.

I wash first anything but outerwear. I wear jackets, hoodies, etc. inside jackets anyway so I don't really care

Yup, best fit is when something is new. Washing usually ruins the fit unless you read the label carefully and wash properly.

you guys wash underwear first? it doesnt even get tried on by people.
you can tell if the package has been compromised or not.

i dont wash anything first. nothing feels as good as a fresh white tee the first time you put it on! you'll never get that feeling back. thats why i have probably 20 white tees lol. i throw out anything that gets semi worn or slightly discolored

i always usually wash the shirt first or what ever i bought, but i also work at a clothing store so if im the first person to rip open the bag and i know nobody else has tried it on i just put it on
