Tofu shop in Chinatown There was this great tofu shop/restaurant in Chinatown near Main & Keefer that had an amazing tofu pudding (Tofu Fa in Chinese?) that you poured a ginger syrup onto. It was so good, but the shop has closed down some time ago. Does anyone know if they just shut down or moved location? Is there anywhere else to get that tofu pudding? I there there is a tofu pudding store in richmond, right between parker place and arbardeen centre |
theres a place along hastings just outside of chinatown, near supraGT. they make tofu dessert by the bucket BUT you have to pre order. |
The place used to be called "Superior" tofu. Here's the website to it. :) http://superiortofu.com/ |
senna, from what i know, that place never reopened anywhere else. :( |
It never re-opened. |
i remember those buckets of tou fu fa in chinatown...so fresh and good..this was like 15 years ago So where is the next best place to buy a bucket of unsweetened fresh tofu pudding? |
the place between parker place and aberdeen u can buy the syrup too |
You guys are awesome. Thanks! So where exactly between Aberdeen & Parker Place is it? In that little mall where the Optical Centre is? |
yes it's in that mall. it's beside Lido |
Sweeeet! |
What happened to those packages of Tofu dessert. It has like flavoring in it and all you did was pour it over the Tofu. That shit was the bomb. |
|
i actually like getting the big ice cream buckets of tofu dessert, but un sweetened. you can then control the sugar content. try different flavorings, brown sugar, honey, even pancake syrup and or maple syrup. all bring different tastes. |
Hows the place by Aberdeen, is it any good? |
