bee's royal jelly in vancouver

My annoying aunts and relatives want me to bring some of this "royal jelly" back to HK cause is very popular there.

at first i was like WTF is royal jelly... i searched around save-on and other groceries stores.. even people there went WTF.

i guess i can only get this in specialty places, anyone know where i can get it? I'm not gonna travel up north to like kamlopps just for some bee's secretion shit. So hopefully someone here can tell me where to get it in Vancouver :)

You can get them at Aberdeen. It's on the bottom floor next to the market place.

im guessing it will be super expensive since is at an asian mall so all the c-lai's hype over it.

but i will take a look, thanks amped

nope, go to zellers, it's 8.99 for a bottle of 60

Are you looking for fresh royal jelly or pills?

SkinnyPupp 11-25-2009 04:35 PM

You can get them at any health store, or any place that sells supplements.

Hondaracer 11-25-2009 05:51 PM

they sell fresh stuff at this little bee place on 152 and 72nd or somewhere around there, its got big yellow signs and from the writing im asuming it's geared towards the Asian crowd looking for this "royal jelly"

KingDeeCee 11-25-2009 06:31 PM

What the fuck is so special about this? Are the bees knighted?

jackmeister 11-25-2009 06:52 PM

its the brazilian one right? i think the correct term is "bee propolis". they sell it at most chinese medicine stores.

its double the price in asia.

Jeffield 11-25-2009 07:19 PM

The one at aberdeen is really good from what I have heard from my aunts.

They are a bit pricey tho.

Ikkaku 11-25-2009 07:27 PM

I think it's available at most chinese herbal/medicinal places, and maybe even the herbal section of the asian groceries.

They tout a million different properties, but the only one that is proven is its antibacterial properties. People buy it for the wrong reasons, but it's quite good for you. Totally not worth what they charge for it though. And with all supplements, people don't actually take it properly, so they are wasting their money anyway.

cool thanks for the help guys. my aunts in hk is all hyped to get this stuff. and ya in hong kong and taiwan is almost double if not triple the price...

i checked online, freakin 35$ for 50g..

Supplements in HK are usually more than 3X the price. It's ridiculous!
