HAVEN Vancouver Grand Opening (New Store - Gastown)

Just found out this new store will be opening in gastown. They carry some brands that other stores dont have and their grand opening is this saturday (dec. 12th, 2009) I would check it out if i didnt have any finals. They carry brands like w+h, headporter, clot, acronym, ransom, stussy, original fake and undefeated. check out their website http://www.havenshop.ca/Default.aspx

if anyone checks it out, let us know how the selection is.

they have undefeated and headporter, so it should set them apart from the ones in gastown, unless you're willing to travel to headquarters on burrard.

Most awesome stores like these are usually secluded in some dark alley, basement, some shady third floor building.

Arthur is a good guy. Glad to see Vancouver will have an Acronym outlet, always been curious about their stuff.

Checked it out today, cool store. It was kinda hard to find at first since theres no sign for the store lol. They don't have a huge selection now, but you can still probably find some stuff.

They said the store is going to be more Japanese based as opposed to their other store, so no w+h. In 2010 f/w they'll be carrying Neighborhood and Wtaps.

I was there at the opening. Very friendly staff, Arthur's a really down-to-earth owner as is the case with most boutique shop owners. Lots of liquor too.

Most interesting pieces they carry are the Acronym jackets. I think they're the only ones around that carry them, possibly in the whole country. Hell there are even youtube videos on how they can be worn / "used"
