HIIT alternatives

Hey guys,

I've been doing HIIT 3x a week and the results are absolutely tremendous. However with the recent snow fall... the track that i run at is starting to get slippery and dangerous.

I was wondering what other alternatives you guys use for HIIT?

My HIIT routine usually goes like :

30 sec maximum sprint
1 minute slow jog/fast walk

Continue for 15 min.

There isn't really a long stretch of road where i can continue sprinting for 30 secs so that's out of the question. I don't have a stationary bike or a threadmill at home either so i'm out of luck there. The only other alternatives i can think of are jump ropes but i'm pretty bad at it lol. Any suggestions?

You can try HIIT or the tabata protocol with burpees, jump lunges, push ups, etc.
