police clothing I always wondered if wearing a windbreaker with FBI on it or any police affiliation illegal if your in canada? |
Only if you use it to try and personate a police officer. It's also an interesting way to draw attention to yourself, both from people who don't like police and the curious police officer. |
There is a bar in Fanny Bay on Van Island called the Fanny Bay Inn...they sell shirts and things with "FBI" on them...some with a sort of badge design. When you see the people who wear them, there is NO chance you would confuse them with J Edgar Hoover EVER !! |
Can't have a red dome light in your car but you can wear police clothing... |
Do you believe that the FBI work in Canada in "uniform"? :) As far as uniforms go, you can buy whatever rank of soldier/sailor/airforce you want at any Army Surplus store. Just don't try to pass yourself off as the genuine thing. As far as non-Police wearing real Police clothing...even a real Cop with a real gun, baton, pepper spray and backup, you can get hurt very easliy. There are some people out there who love hurting & killing Police/. Why put yourself into that danger. That's about as smart as pointing an airsoft or replica gun at someone with a real one that shoots back. |
Well, better safe than sorry. Impersonation of an officer can actually be a potential issue that ends with it as a crime taken seriously |
Get a cbsa one n roam around the airport hahaha Posted via RS Mobile |
