Two FAST AND THE FURIOUS Movies In The Works?

Quote:
Over the weekend, Vin Diesel updated his very cool Facebook page with an infobit about the next FAST AND THE FURIOUS film - rather the next FATF films (?)

Vin wrote:

If 2009's 'Fast and Furious' was chapter one, what writer Chris Morgan just delivered is Chapter 2 and chapter 3.

I have never been submitted a two story saga from a studio before... it is very exciting, and shows a commitment level that is hard not to respond to.

How can you extend f&f into a epic story arc that requires 2 movies??!? Its not like Lord of the Rings...... Unless you got orcs riding modified ricers.

F&F series are cash cow
they will film it until Vin Diesel & Paul Walker die.
and then replace them with new cast, continues filming...

Why are you all surprised that there will be another one. It's already a known fact that there will be another sequel/prequel for it.

The last one was a definite FAIL. I think they should leave it alone. I liked Tokyo Drift.

Agreed.

We all knew that there was going to be a sequel ever since Tokyo Drift came out.

That, and Sung Kang's character Han was short lived. He'll probably be in one of them as a "prequel" to Tokyo Drift. The sequel for Tokyo Drift was obvious.

Also, we haven't seen anything from the Euro scene, so there's alot of playroom for sequels to come.

The 4th one was an actual movie. Less cars + action, but it actually worked as an action flick. If Justin lin stays on for the next 2, it might actually work. He saved the series already imo.

Stop bitching all of you who are saying "oh no not another fast and furious". The thing is every single fast and furious that comes out is awesome. There are never any good car based movies so just shut up.

The recent Fast and Furious 4 was a great movie, so have all the others.

Fast and Furious 4 life mofo.

Hey everyone's entitled to there opinion, not everyone's gonna like the movie.

I just couldn't get into it, why would you used a slammed modified car to smuggle things across a border through a cave, like come on. Then launching down an embankment onto the freeway in a skyline like it was nothing, a speed bump will mess my Z up if I take it wrong.

It's one of those movies where you shut your mind off and be entertained. I watched the first one with a car nut and he kept pointing out flaws in every scene. He made it un-fun.

I hear they relatively cheap movies to make and they make a ton of cash. I'll keep watching them because they have cars and they're fun.

Vin Diesel really trashed all of his own rules... he tried being a real actor and wouldnt do sequels unless they had perfect scripts (and even then) etc etc

i guess going without a job for a few years smashed those walls down
