Travelling to Edmonton

Hey guys,

I'll be travelling to Edmonton during Mid-Feb for a few day, so I was wondering if there's anything to do there besides West Edmonton Mall.

How's the nightlife scene? Any Asian nights like what we have over here?

Thanks!

nothing like Van... Whyte ave is the best place to go for night life, there are a number of clubs downtown but they are usually unfriendly and can be dangerous... Whyte Ave is kind of a circus... a very drunk circus there are a few fun places to get the night started in the mall... then take it to Whyte to mingle, meet some university girls.

where you gonna stay near? if you like casinos theres one right at wem. but i liked River Cree more, its owned by natives =). Theres glow in the dark putt putt at wem too its pretty fun and can kill some time there. like mentioned above whyte ave has all the clubs and you can bar hop too. strip joints are good too. the place for most asian girls are the raves... LOL no joke... they fucking hide until theres a rave then BAM.

The mall and getting drunk is pretty much all there is do to in the winter,
its really a nice town, just be prepared to drink at a country bar and the cold. I was just there in December and lots of layers of clothes is the only way to survive.

Whiskey jacks is fun, they had a country dancing lesson's at the start of the night and was full of 18 year old high school girls and its in the mall.

Hudson's is in the mall right next to whiskey jack's its plays more beat 94.5 music and is alright. It reminded me of the foggy dew honestly

If your near jasper ave go to Oil Fields its a mid 20's crowd but still some JB.

There's also a stand up comedy club in the mall that was cheap but funny. One of the comedians starting hassling me because I smelled like weed, so I told him "its OK I'm from BC" so he looked at the girl next to me and said "Is your GF from surrey" its was hilarious because she is

Well, I'm going for a business trip. I was thinking of extending my trip by adding a few vacation days just to check out the city, but I guess that is not gonna happen.. LOL

I second that. Go there, do your business and find the first flight back home.
