Comfort Food

I just made myself some cream of mushroom soup to eat with steamed rice and broccoli. It's been a favourite of mine ever since I was little.

So I'm just curious.. What's one of your favourite comfort foods?

Dude! That is the absolute shit! Do you mean putting the rice into the soup? Cause thats what I do. Just take left over cooked rice from the other day and put it in a pot with cream of mushroom soup, and its so goodd.

I pour the soup over the rice and broccoli. I love eating it with spaghetti too. In fact, cream of mushroom soup with anything is a comfort food for me, hehe.

My mom made this all the time when I was younger. Not as much now, but the more I think about it after you posted that, the more I realize just how nostalgic it is.

From my family, my mom makes rice topped with BBQ Pork (Cha seew), broccoli, a fried egg and a bit of soy sauce. Or instant noodles with a fried egg on top.

If outside of home, it's gotta be Pho or a Dominoes Pepperoni & Sausage with a 6pack

A quick comfort food is nice and hot rice with a little butter, a fried sunny-side up egg, soy sauce, and some veggies.

I tried that mushroom soup with broccoli on rice, I accidentally burnt the soup since I didn't use a non-stick pan. However, it still turned out well, and it tasted good.
