Evolution 8/9 owners ?

Has anyone here imported an 8 or 9 ? Are there any issues I should keep an eye on when looking for one of these Evo's and are there any local or Canadian Evo forums ? Thanks !

Was that because of the mark up? Or another reason?

Yeah...one is for the mark-up... It's relatively cheaper to buy down south.
Also, the 2008 EVO X GSR in Canada does not have the "SSS" (sight, sound, and spoiler) package as an option, unlike the USDM models.
The 2008 Canadian EVO Xs also has an extra piece extended from the diffusers, which may be unappealing to a lot of people. However, that piece has saved my paint 2 times now from the Richmond C-Lais lol.

EVO 8/9 seems to be a common, if not common, then not too rare car around. lol I heard they are alright for importing, just the simple leave your car at the boarder for a couple of days, then get your inspection done when it's in Canada, etc etc.

I think the more 'trouble' part is finding a decent one that hasn't been modded, or built, and the price.
