Actually, part of the proceeds from all official Olympic merchandise go to supporting Canadian athletes, not just the mittens. Even though I am known as "Mr. Anti-Olympic" within my circle of friends, this is why I didn't mind buying some merchandise.

This is why I was shitting bricks when you said the shelves were stock full. I was like.. WHAT?!

Ah, sorry.

TO CLARIFY:
The Bay Downtown are sold out of all adult size (plenty of kid's sizes up to size 14, although I think we snapped up some of the last ones) zip up hoodies with "CANADA" across the chest, and are not expecting anymore, according to the manager that I spoke to this morning. He said there is a possibility that a 'miracle' shipment *may* come in from somewhere back east, but not likely. They are not being manufactured anymore.

They do have racks full of the pull-over hoodies with the "C" on the upper left chest. I may have taken the last large size men's grey one though. The staff were replenishing stock the whole time we were there, so it appears they have plenty of the pull-over hoodies.

Mascot merchandise with Muk Muk seem to be very scarce, too. Plenty of plushies, but no pins, blankets, water bottles, scarves, etc.... I'm not surprised, Muk Muk rocks!

I got myself a red pullover hoodie with the "C" on the upper left chest 2 days ago @ the bay downtown and I'm satisfied They are quite nice in quality.

I was walking in Richmond Centre yesterday wearing the hoodie and a random JB across the mall corridor pointed at me and yelled OUT LOUD: "OMG I WANT THAT HOODIE!!!" to her b/f. Everyone around that area turned around and stared at me and I pretended I didn't hear anything and just walked along with my g/f lol.

I thought those ebay ones looked funny, just couldn't tell what it was.

Still half asleep when I typed that message from hanging around DT way too late last night wearing my new quilted jacket!! Haha, thanks!

People were offering to buy my jacket on the spot.

I haven't seen adult sizes anywhere in the last 3 days. I've been to Oakridge, Metrotown & downtown. None, and the kid's sizes are going fast too. I heard the Lynn Valley Zellers had a lot as of Wednesday.

The Bay, downtown had a few kid's size 14 on the 5th floor. No adult sizes. My friend fits in a size 14 CANADA hoodie. She's about 5'6", but very slim.

I have a pair of brand new (tags still on) red mitts in adult L/XL if anybody wants them. PM me and you can come pick them up.

Priority to those who have an extra Canada pompom toque in an adult size that they're willing to trade/sell ;-)
