i went to Shun Feng on saturday. $168 (i think), and you get 3 dishes of crab.
1) garlic steamed crab legs
2) some sort of sauce crab legs
3) crab head noodles
we also had a cow tail with tomato sauce.
it was epicly good! with epic proportions too

Went with my parents to some place in Richmond called the Excelsior. I was told it may have been called Dynasty. Or D nasty - it still is. The interior is classic east side chinese restaurant. The soup we had was mainly vegetables and had flies. I'm serious. When we pointed it out to the waitress she told us they probably came from the vegetables. I don't even know what to say. King crab was ok. Everything kind of tasted like chicken broth. My heart sunk when my mom told me it cost about the same as SSW.

Anyone know if Red Star is doing King crab? If so, how much per pound and if it's good.

I've only ever had it once in a restaurant and prefer it at home cooked whole on the BBQ.
A great spring meal 10 pound crab a couple pounds of shrimp fresh off the boat some fresh oysters. Some wine a very happy drunk gf.

I went to Red star last night and they were having for $16.80/Lb. We got a 9 pound one for Three people! haha Crazy! I must say, Red Star did a pretty good job at cooking the three courses. The crab itself was packed with meat(In canto, "Sut").

Just had King Crab last night at Jade Seafood in Richmond. I think it was $13/pound or $14. It was pretty damn tasty. Got 2 huge ass plates of the steamed garlic plus deep fried from a 9lb crab.

I've had it at Sun Sui Wah and many other places and it seems like the crab at Red Star had more meat. I'm assuming King Crab has various grades too.

went to Sea Harbor. $16.80 for two dishes. we had a 16 pounder, it was HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE . expensive too, i think sea harbor is the most expensive in richmond at 16.80, but it's well worth the price. better than shun feng's! (shun feng's is pretty good already)
