| Lost my parking violation ticket!!
My gf took my clothes for dry cleaning and she cleaned out the pockets and threw away a parking violation ticket i got from a private parking lot near brentwood mall.
I think the ticket is from a private company called Vinci or impark.
Should I call them and get a replacement ticket or forget it.
What will happen if I just forget it? Will they send some repo man to take away my car? or what else!?

Who cares... If the private lot really wants your money they will send you another ticket in the mail. I remember getting a parking violation ticket in the mail for a ticket I never received at the time on my car.

is Impark private? I am not sure if it is impark, I will have to go back and check. They will hire some recollection agency to harrass me right?

I don't think they run a check on every car that parks there for previous tickets. But don't quote me on it. I think 1 ticket is alright, if u have multiple tickets outstanding, then it's common sense to not park there anymore.

If you don't change plates:
To answer your earlier question, I'm 75% sure that if you ever park in Impark or Vinci (or whatever it was called) lot again and not pay for parking, they will ticket your car, and the other outstanding ticket will show up, and they most likely will call for a tow. So, as long as you pay and follow their rules, they won't find out about the outstanding ticket.
Don't even bother paying it would be my advice, and not change plates. They will most likely send you shit in the mail saying some bullshit like "Pay for your ticket now, the price you pay here is better than the price you'd pay in court and by paying us now your credit score won't be ruined" It's a load of shit, cause you really think they're going to pull you into court for a ticket that's around $40-60? After a couple weeks if they do not get a response from you they'll send the case to a private adjustment agency, who will continuously call you and demand you pay up. If you have caller ID then simply do not pick it up.  Impark uses Wiggins Adjustment if I remember correctly.

^ and it erases other tickets on the last plate...so rack up your tickets before changing plate!

if you made a parking infraction on their lot, why not just pay up..it's usually under $40 iirc
if it's impark/easypark might as well, since there's a good chance you'll be parking on their lots again.

I've always wondered about them threatening to go after your credit rating. After all, the ticket is only attached to the owner of the car, who wasn't necessarily the one who parked without purchasing a ticket. Can they even legally go after the owner (credit-wise) for something that they may not have necessarily even done?

impark is big..they own lots everywhere so if u plan on going to places they'll tow u away and u'll lose a few hrs getting ur car back and some towing fees and probably charge u for violation ticket and charge u for lateness. they pull a lot of bullshit on you.
here's what u do.
wait until they send you another ticket. then complain that u never saw the first one.
and u pay ticket if they send u a copy.
