Car Tint.

So i just got my car tinted 35% in the front, 20% in the backs and 20% visor strip on the windshield. I live in Vancouver and was wondering what are you chances of getting pulled over? How many of you got stories of getting pulled over for having tinted front windows? I personally think cops would pull me over cuz i got a better whip then em! thats my 2 cents!

It depends on what kind of car you have.

If it is more of a luxury type of car, slight tints on the front windows are not TOO obvious, but you might still get pulled over.

5% tint in the back.
20% tint on the fronts.

And my tails are completely blacked out.

Haven't got pulled over, or even followed yet, and I pull up next to or pass a cop almost everyday.

i've been taken out of the car and had a rcmp supervisor search my car (for safety reasons) and they ignored it.

i have ~15% back and 70% front (light tint).. i think thats how the numbers work..

I think that tint on the front windows is subjective and the likeliness of a cop giving you a ticket can depend on:

a vehicles "Heat Score",
if it's the beginning vs. end of the month,
a persons driving behavior.

I'm sure that a newer stock looking G35 is going to have a low chance of getting a tinting ticket, so long as the driver doesn't do douchebag maneuvers around a cop.

On the other hand, a JDM with a fart-can exhaust and bodykit (high heat score) is likely.
