The thing with trend brand is, they only last a while. They want to milk the hit as much as possible.

Diesel is pretty normal now and face much competition from other brands for premium denim (Evisu, LVC/Fenom, NBHD... etc), no one except gangster want to wear Ed Hardy/CA. But these companies spent a lot of money in marketing to make it into THE trend, thus they want to make it back somehow.

I'll stick to my philosophy of low-profile brands. Good designed cloth are timeless and they look good even several years later. Doesn't mean these brands are cheap, but they are good and subtle.

trends are always changing.. and honestly the markup on the clothes are insane... don't buy the stuff that's newly released, cause they usually drop 50% once the next season's line is introduced.

just my 2 cents..

if you are ugly.. even a $6000 pair of jeans and an $8000 hoodie isnt gonna do shit for you..
