Spotted: real deal S15 silvia (pics)

I asked Koju @ Takeda Racing if i could share and he said yess.. so here it is!

I believe it's a Autech 6sp n/a, high compression pistons? Someone that actually knows his silvias can correct me haha..

so hot, I personally think it's one of the nicest interiors I've been in at this price range. If it were available here I'd definately pick one up as a daily.

Don't ask me why it's here, it's not for sale and it's used as parts car only :(.

sorry for the shitty pics, I think my buddy as better pictures. I'll see if I can get ahold of them.

damn, such a nice car

but it's used for a parts car?
that kinda sucks =\

tofu1413 04-20-2010 03:47 PM

damn.. sucha waste to use as a parts car...

i assume this should be a Silvia Q Autech then. SR20DE w/ 160hp or so. 6speed?

supman7 04-20-2010 04:02 PM

yea, there's no way to be able to insure the car legally so it's better off as a parts car. Doesn't this sr20de push 200hp? I thought the Autech version had some extra goodies like cams, higher compression, headers etc.

tofu1413 04-20-2010 04:14 PM

^ hmm. maybe ur right. i stand corrected. i remember hearing about a higher output n/a SR20 ... but im not exactly a nissan person myself. =X

still, this is the nicest looking S chassis of all IMO. The Autech Varietta hardtop convertible looks awesome too!

shenmecar 04-20-2010 05:31 PM

nicest. silvia. evar.

supman7 04-20-2010 10:58 PM

^not sure, they were in the process of taking it apart when I took the pictures. That was a few days ago.

i think he meant, since its a parts car, to take the body and do a conversion on a s14.

yes that's what i meant, thanks for clarification!

- kT 04-21-2010 05:06 PM

^ a conversion on an s14 would be awesome, but would probably require a TON of bodywork

i know putting the s15 steering wheel onto an s14 alone requires a huge ton of work, so unless the kit and stuff fits perfect it'd probably take a lot of time + money

still, i'm sure it'd be worth it though
