Suit Tailor Needed

Can anyone recommend nice and cheap tailor? I've checked some of the other threads and might check out Oakridge Tailors.

I previously had my dress pants hemmed, but I need them to be more slim fitted. I also need the length of the jacket shortened as well as the arms.

How much do you guys reckon it'll cost?

Cheers

I recently went to oakridge tailors to slim down my suit, they charged a pretty penny, if i remember correctly about $80, just to alter the width

She quoted that it would cost about $90-$150

Go to oakridge tailors. There's a thread on them already to read review... though I've never paid $80 for them to tailor a suit.. if I remember correctly it was usually round $40 each.

Oo I actually contacted the link razor ramon posted, seems like a pretty good deal. A simple suit at Tiptop tailors would cost about $400 with taxes in, and probably won't look half as good because of the way it fits. Any other recommendations for suits RS?

+1, I would like to know as well, wouldn't mind a fairly priced tailored suit, within the Vancouver area.

One of the best out there, excellent value, only negative is it takes a while to get your suit done as these guys are in their 70-80's

I think I paid around 80 or so at oakridge tailors to get my pants hemmed and slimmed, jacket taken in and arms shortened

that is al ot of work done for only 80 bucks.. I think they charge 15 bucks for pant hemming alone.. and at least 50 bucks for taking in a suit... I remember getting a blazer taken in, sleeves shortened, and pants hemmed for well over 100.

They are probably one of the more expensive places, but you don't want to have things like suits and dress shirts fudged up.

do you know how long the wait is for tailoring at Oakridge Tailors?
I need a suit hemmed in length only pretty much. Maybe a little slimmed but probably not.

They never rush things... It has been about a week for the last 2 things I have gotten done by them. I guess you could ask for it to be rushed? I usually bring it in when I am in no real need to have it done asap. I will br bringin in my blazer this week to get some stitchign reinforced though...
