| Front rotor/brake pad replacement
Quick question, wheres a good place to get my front rotors swapped in Richmond?

it's a 1993 honda accord SE
the front rotors are pressed on and aren't just R.O.H., otherwise i could just DIY it 
if the rotors being pressed on aren't a problem, what are your prices/labour costs?

Um, 93 accord front rotors are just unbolting the hub, bracket/caliper and that's it?

Buy be a 24 case and I'll do it. But I will use a hammer and wack it off.

Those rotors are total bitches, if they're siezed onto the hub. But sometimes you get lucky and just a tap with a hammer and chisel and they pop off.
Have you tried it yet? or just assuming for the worse? Short of using the press, use either a slide hammer or a puller. Don't forget to take off the axle nut either.

PM me if you need any help. | i have given it a bit of a try, but i havn't gone all out for fear of damaging the bearing. i've read about some methods that don't damage the bearing, but i havn't been able to figure out where i can rent/borrow a slide hammer and an axle puller

kms or princessauto should be able to help you out with something of a puller.
if you don't want to damage the bearing take the whole hub out and then start smashy smashying the rotor/hub assembly. and at least this way you can always get it pressed off, or air chisseled off.
just strike towards the rotor. if you strike towards the hub you're gonna split that and the bearing.
Sometimes its just gonna be fucked and its gonna come apart regardless. good luck.

I had a 92 accord and 1 of the rotors were seized.
Total bitch to do and cost more then the normal rotors if you are swapping them out.

i think i've managed to find the best deal at budget brake/muffler (surprisingly enough). probably just gonna get the rotors myself cause they want to charge me $150 per rotor. i'll give you riseauto guys a call tomorrow and find out your prices and go from there

i'm considering shelling a bit more out and just getting a rotor over hub conversion and save myself from having this problem again in the future
