Watched it Mandarin with Eng subs. Subs weren't that bad. I thought Ip man 2 was better than 1. The Cantonese version won't be out for a while...

Just watched the canton version last night. The fights r definitely better than the first one. Final fight is awesome.

i just streamed it to bad it was mando with eng sub. 2 was good but i like 1 better

anyways, in terms of fighting, the table fight > final fight

overall, ip man 1 > ip man 2

I think it's good to see that he doesnt own everybody without much effort. The final fight in 1 was just too easy.

It's weird that I read elsewhere that the director is already preparing for Ip Man 3 or its in pre-production. Who's gonna be Ip Man then?? I think he's just saying that shit so he gets more $$ in the next movie.

Donnie Yen is in way too many movies now. 14 Blades, Ip Man 2, Legend of the Fist, Bodyguards and Assassins, etc etc.

The one movie franchise he should've kept milking was SPL and Flashpoint. At least theres no historical character to limit what the character can do.

I totally recommend watching Ip Man 2 if you watched Ip Man 1.

I must agree the final fight was truly epic.
