D&D old laws vs. new laws

Does anyone have any information on the old drinking and driving laws versus the new laws? I searched here and google but they all show the new laws. Doing this as a class assignment so anything helps! thanks

How far back do you consider to be "old?" Are you taking Criminal Code, Motor Vehicle Act or both?

Mostly on the MVA. Just need a couple of keys points for the "warning" level and the "fail" level.

A Warning is any BAC between 50 and 99 mg% while the fail is 100 mg% or more. Fail means a Criminal Code issue in addition to the 90 day Administrative Driving prohibition under the MVA and years prohibition if convicted in addition to any the judge hands out. Warn means a 24 hour prohibition and a 24 hour vehicle impoundment. (The impoundment part is relatively new) This is the "old" stuff and what is proposed just makes the penalties harsher than this.

Bill 14 has received 3rd reading so they are going through the paperwork. I have not seen a start date yet but it will take time to print things like new forms and send info to the various agencies.
