my gfs sister is turning 16 this weekend and i wanted to get her something nice. she wanted an ipod touch but the gf said no cuz it will distract her from school. can't really think of much right now... plz help...

im not sure about getting her clothes because that's what everyone is getting her.

How the hell will an iPod be a distraction? I can understand if it's an itouch cause you can go online and stuff.. But an mp3 player? (unless I'm confuse and iPod touch = itouch?)

How long have you been dating you GF? Do you want to get with her sister?

Get her nothing if the answer is either < 1 year or no.
If the answer is > 1 year or yes, pics or ban.
Do you plan on marrying your GF? If the relationship is not that serious, then why are you so worried about getting her sister something nice?

If she really wants an ipod but you're not too keen on it, get her a gift card (as stated previously) to Oakridge or Pacific Centre (where the Apple Stores are) and load it up to the value of an iPod.

Then let her decide. If she decides to get the iPod you'll totally out-do the other sister's bf because you kind of got what she wanted, but if she wants to have general merchandise from the malls too then shes happy as well. Good Luck.
