Abuseing The Fail Button?
 

Not to bitch or nothing like that but is there anything against that? I mean I don't really care if I deserve it or whatever but when a certain person follows you around failing you for the hell of it I'm like whats the point. And it's happening to more then one person?????

yeah targeted fails for no reason is pretty bad.

You can report it and the mods will take care of it for you, if it bothers you.

It would be nice to have the fails removed if possible.. the system is there to encourage quality posts which is what I try to contribute anyway.

If it counts as fail abuse then I'll leave it up to your discretion as to what to do.

No, not just meaningless fails, but trolling fails are enough to deem users unnecessary (if you get my drift.) :p

then it would be considered "thank abuse" if someone were to follow you around and thank every post you put up? Can't believe a fail button would get people upset that much... oh well guess people are sensitive about what others think. After all its just the internet..

While the fail and thanks system shouldn't be taken seriously, it contributes to the overall user experience. If members here are contributing in a positive way, why fail the post? That's just trolling in my opinion. The unnecessary fails don't contribute to the community and would generally steer people in the wrong direction to not post. We don't want that here. We want members to post and to participate.

Why don't mods limit all users to 5 FAILS per day.

Asian_xl 's always going around stalking peoples posts to fail if you failed one of his posts.

First time that happened to me I got pretty annoyed, but now I just don't let it get to me. If he finds it fun to stalk my posts and fail me just because I failed one of his posts that deserved a fail, then be my guest. It just doesn't bother me anymore.

obviously only someone with no social life would do such a thing..
