+1. Good movie, interesting ending.

Possibly my favourite, though not "hidden" movie, is Pulp Fiction. Sometimes people forget about it because it's old though (1994).

Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, and The Usual Suspects aren't exactly "hidden gems" but they sure are very very very awesome films!

Here's one most or all of you have never heard of!

British film! Charming, sweet, and hilarious movie. A must download!

Where God left His Shoes

It's like The Pursuit of Happyness; it didn't have Wills budget but in some aspects it was a better movie

Amal

Saw this on TV it was pretty damned good about a billionaire looking for someone to leave his money to (its a Canadian made film too)

in this thread, you can really separate the people who are able to think abstractly, from the people who cannot... and the real fucking idiots.

days of being wild

baraka

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

this one isn't as much as a "hidden" gem but still good

anyways the ones I picked above were because of their directing, it's very unique and or convey's the proper emotions to the audience.

The action and story was pretty well done... one of Christian Bale's lesser know movies.

Another one was Cube 1 & 2, (Cube 2 expecially). For such a simple plot it was rather entertaining throughout the entire duration of the movie.

Anyone have any others to share?
The concept for equilibrium was cool but there was a lot of corny things about it as well.

Cube was actually cool lol! cube2 kinda ruined it but was still interesting enough to watch. they shoulda just kept it at cube1. haha

I've seen a lot of great "hidden gems" I just can't remember any of them. I watched Harry Brown yesterday, which is why I remembered to post it here. Highly recommended if you like revenge movies

Excellent cult film that spawned two mediocre TV series, an animated series, and a whole spate of dreadful, dreadful sequels, all of which ruined the original premise: "There can be only one".

They shoulda taken their own advice.

Great concept for how different decisions and actions can lead to different outcomes.

Great Guy Ritchie movie, definitely worth a watch. Some big names in the movie, but playing great roles, and before they were big for many of them.

Not sure how many of you consider it "hidden" anymore, but I thought it was some fantastic acting from Gary Oldman. Add in Jean Reno and Natalie Portman, and it just worked so well.
