In the early 90's Isuzu had Lotus design their suspensions for them. The Stylus RS (pictured) and Impulse were their sporty models back then. :)

what kind of wheels are on that Porsche 996 beside it? Jesus...

Qmx323 06-06-2010 11:29 PM

cool. were they ever sold here or would this be a recent import?

Berzerker 06-07-2010 09:27 AM

No they were sold here the Impulse is more common though.

Yeah they were sold here but they aren't very common. Like Berz said the Impulse was super popular but moreso as the Geo Storm or Asuna Sunfire. I had a buddy that had the Stylus RS and it was fairly quick and a nice looking little car.

you'd know grandpa

The car pictured is an 88 I-mark. That was the first ones to have the "handling by Lotus" badge. The 92 Impulse had them too, but the RS model had the turbo motor.

ef_hybrid 06-07-2010 01:20 PM

Is that not an Isuzu I-mark?

Yes, you are correct.

orgasm_donor 06-07-2010 04:20 PM

Yes...totally forgot it was called an I-mark. LOL...

hyperloop 06-07-2010 07:16 PM

This is one rare sob. Very nice find
And thumbs up to the owner for keeping it clean =]

maxx 06-07-2010 08:01 PM

i felt it was quite rare, so i snapped some shots...

as you see it attracted me more than the 997 in the back :P

boostfever 06-07-2010 10:05 PM

there's no 997, and those rims on the Porsche ruin the view.

that's an I-mark turbo. Stylus (4 dr) and Impulse (awd turbo) aka Asuna Sunfires (NA) were later models. Great handling cars. Too bad the company in NA went down under soooo fast, support for the products were next to none.

Yup that's an I-Mark. A friend's brother had one in high school 15 years ago; the handling back then was really good.
