for texts go to Settings --> Sounds --> Text Tone --> choose none at the very bottom
for mail its the same... go to sounds and switch new/sent mail from on to off.

1. Jailbreak
2. open Cydia and instal Ultrasn0w.
3. reboot.
4. profit.
or Trade someone for a unlocked one + cash.

hey guys i finally want to upgrade my phone from 4.1 > 4.3.3
i downloaded the 4.3.3 firmware, and shift restore in itunes, but when i do that it says error has occured
i dont require an unlock, and i dont care about preserving my baseband
any help?

Anyone's iPhone overheats? Mine has been overheating lately both with and without lots of apps running :/
Not sure if it's because I have so much stuff on it or if I'm abusing it.. I use my iPhone ALOT

ive never overheated and i play Order & chaos for HOURS. you got a phone problem. exchange it IMO.
my phone is also PACKED. its got like 30mb free.

I have my SHSH blob saved on my computer but i restored my phone and have a newer update installed. Can I still downgrade?

is anyone having probs with battery life? my phone has been fine for the last 11 months up until last week. ive had to charge it every night since. unplug charger at around 745 am and by 12 pm battery life drops 50%. only making a few calls in the morning too.
do you think the genius bar would replace the unit?

if its still wonky, return it.
