I broke my iPhone camera by dropping it

fuck i am in a world of pain right now in hk
i have a fido locked iph4, buddy lends me gevey sim to use while i am in hk
i was on 4.3.3 jailbroken (where gevey will work fine)
4 days before i fly back ios5 comes out, i update (i dont really care about JB)
curiosity owns me, i did not preserve baseband (im pretty proficient with JB stuff, not so much with unlock as i never had to do it)
i fly back, only to find out that i cant unlock baseband 4.11.08 on ios5
now im stuck using my iphone 3g which is slow as fuck =="""
i wonder when gevey is gonna come out with a new product for ios5 D:
or some kind of software unlock, right now chances for unlock via ultrasn0w seems pretty slim

Sell your iPhone and buy one for for your carrier. Back up your iPhone before selling it. try selling for $350 (16gb) and you can get another easily for the same price

Does anyone have a workaround for this? Sometimes when I send a picture using iMessage, it gets sent as a text. I don't have MMS included in my plan, so it's kind of painful to see.
Is there a way for iMessage to ask me before resending as a MMS?
EDIT: Under the messages option for iMessage, I disabled "Send as SMS". I hope this works?

What we really need is better cellular data coverage. In Vancouver I hit quite a few areas with poor or no 3G coverage, it seems like the Rogers/fido network isn't improving or keeping up with the high adoption rate of smartphones. Posted via RS Mobile | |

Unlock and jailbreak are different. Unlock is so you can use your Fido SIM card in it, and jailbreak is so you can install Cydia and other apps.
You will need a GEVEY SIM.

I just got an Iphone 4 and ive tried searching for jailbreak topics but there is too much page to go through and no solid answer so im hoping someone can give me a straight answer.
I wanna jailbreak my iphone 4 but i dont know what is the best version and where to download it. I heard untethered is the best so i want untethered as well. I also heard that IOS 5 has unstability issues and/or horror stories so im not looking to update to that version.

If you're running 4.3.3 you're good.
If you're running 5.0 you're good.
On your iphone, go to jailbreakme.com and download.
Easiest way.
