I have only listened to the first 5 songs so far but it's bangin, I hope Dre's on it which I haven't heard anything about and I'm wondering what happened with that that joint with Jay-Z he was working on.

I like his energy and flow, but i'm not used to em on some of these beats. If he had those classic dre beats on this album it would be fantastic. Better than Relapse though.

murd0c 06-08-2010 06:11 PM

Just listened to the joint with Pink and didn't like it at all.

raygunpk 06-09-2010 12:16 AM

i was thinking the exact same thing while i was listening to it. some of the beats sound like the ones from a lil wayne album; namely the synthesized drums in certain songs (not that i totally despise them but they aren't em!)

some choruses are just cringe worthy though imo.

Haven't listened to it yet but gonna give it a go. I don't think he'll ever outdo his marshal mathers LP though

Yep its a different type of em vibe. Talking lots about proof and shit. Over all its not bad at all yes the beats are different but he flows really good with them.

Friend of mine is a big Eminem fan, says it's his best album. But he's more into the emo eminem vibe.

So bad is the best track IMO. Wicked cd. Wasn't a fan of the pink track the first time I heard it but it slowly growing on me

hal0g0dv2 06-09-2010 11:08 AM

just listened to the whole album at the gym
very good

FiveDime 06-09-2010 11:59 AM

i personally like "Cold wind Blows". Typical em telling every chick to suck a nut!
love it!

raygunpk 06-09-2010 12:29 PM

the beats aren't the best but that's not the point of this album. his lyrics and delivery really show the emotion and everything he's going/gone through, and i think that's what he wants us to feel.

if you're looking for a club banger with some apple bottom jeans wit the boots wit the fur, you won't find it here.

im a preety dam big eminem fan and i must say this does not beat the slim shady or marshal mathers LP

jpark 06-09-2010 04:30 PM

his lyrics flow

cdizzle_996 06-09-2010 06:05 PM

Sick CD

Hondaracer 06-09-2010 06:09 PM

i dont like it that much, listened to it all today and yesterday

the beats are nothing special and he's using some fucking weird cuts..

the rhymes are really losing their quality too imo, he's just dropping names and trying "shocking" stuff that really is not shocking at all anymore, Micheal J fox mentioned twice, *yawn

i dunno, nothing will ever touch Marshal Mathers LP, that CD every single track was good enough to be a single, and the rhymes in that album are untouched by anything other than perhaps illmatic

fairly disapointed in it, i'll continue to listen and see if my opinion changes

Jegz 06-09-2010 08:54 PM

good cd imo. emotionally driven album :)

raygunpk 06-09-2010 09:40 PM

For you, I wanna write the sickest rhyme of my life
So sick it’ll blow up the mic, It’ll put the dyna in mite
Yeah it’ll make the dopest MC wanna jump off a bridge and shit hisself
Tap dancin’ all over the beat, it’ll jump off the page and spit itself
Yeah it’s the best thing I could do right now for you Doodi is to rap
SO Imma fuck til I die, yeah Imma do it to death
And itstead of mourning your death, I’d rather celebrate your life
Elevate to new height, step on the gas and accelerate, Imma need two mics
Cuz the way that I’m feelin’ tonight, everything I can just do right
There’s nothing that I can do wrong, I’m too strong and I’m just too hyped
Just finished the rhymin bustin and excuse the corny metaphor
They’ll never catch up to all this energy that I’ve mustered
So God just help me out while I fight through this grievin’ process
Tryna process this loss is makin’ me nauseous
But this depression ain’t takin me hostage
I’ve been patiently watchin’ this game, pacin’ these hallways
You had faith in me always
Proof you knew I’d come out of this slump, rise from these ashes
Come right back on they asses, and go Mike Tyson on these bastards
And Imma show ‘em, blow ‘em out the water slaughter ‘em homes
I’m on so many bells the only place they can hit me is below
Homie I know I’m, never gonna be the same with you
I woulda never came in this game, I’m going insane without you
Matter of fact it was just the other night, had another dream about you
You told me to get up, I got up and spread my wings and I flew
You gave me a reason to fight, I was on my way to see you
You told me nah Doodi you’re not layin’ on that table I knew
I was gonna make it, soon as you said think of Hailie, I knew
There wasn’t no way that I was gonna ever leave them babies, and Proof
not many are lucky enough to have a guardian angel like you
Lord I’m so thankful, please don’t think I don’t feel grateful, I do
Just grant me the strength that I need, for one more day to get through
So homie this is your song, I dedicate this to you
I love you Doodi

Greenstoner 06-11-2010 01:20 PM

but this cd is definately better than the last 2 albums
last 2 were retarded

Hondaracer 06-11-2010 06:02 PM

relapse was better imo

jdmhaze 06-11-2010 09:54 PM

Recovery is definately better than his last 2. Em has a LOT of good albums so its hard to say which is the best.
