How to inspect a used car?

First Post.

I'm buying a used car for the first time and I'm wondering what I have to look and inspect. I know the basics, just wondering if I missed anything major.

Thx in advance.

take it to a mechanic you trust, and let them look at it on a hoist.

OTG, I thought that dude was gonna say ... "WILL IT BLEND" at the beginning of the vid.

Esprit, I would follow the vid as the first screening. Shortlist what you look and I wouldn't take anything to the shop if I didn't have the intention to buy. Basically, you should have the mentality that a) the car has passed your own first-off inspection b) you are ready to purchase the car if the mechanic's inspection is acceptable to you.

You may be able to negotiate some price off the top of the vehicle cost if you or your mechanic find issues.
