Visual Inspection Questions

Would camber wear on my front wheels fail my car in a VI? Would I have to zero out the camber before heading out to do a visual inspection. I heard that a rip 2" and larger on one of my seats would fail me. Is that true? Is there anything in the MVA thing about the clearance between the tire and fender?

I doubt the wear itself would, but it might prompt them to check the alignment (if they don't do so automatically), and if it's outside the spec range, that would fail the inspection.

.
You'd have to at least return it to within spec.

I believe it COULD.

I don't think there's a specific measurement that's required; only that the tire and fender not rub at any point.
