2008 Hulk looks so phony though.. and the emo bangs

2012 looks most 'realistic' - like he was actually a human at one point.

I know you can't compare Ed Norton's acting versus Mark Ruffalo, but I still think Mark was a terrible actor for this movie. Just my opinion.

saw the movie last night, fucking loved it

the very last scene after the whole credits was the funniest and best way to fucking end it! and to be honest, it would be the most realistic ending.

Spoiler!

imma definitely watch it again.

as for the whole hulk thing, yeah the incredible hulk looked more badass, but keep in mind, i think they wanted this movie to be a few or more years after everyone was recruited. so its only natural the bruce banner aged and already showed that he can control his emotions (most of the time). and if bruce ages, doesn't the hulk too? i like to think in 2003 hulk was child like, 2008 more teenage like, and 2012 adult like and finally learning to be at sync with bruce

What's amazing to me is that I tend to forget how much of these movies are CGI these days. The seamless transitions and lifelike qualities of many of the characters are amazing. Thinking on how they are all just "acting" out the fights in the green screen without any real opponent or backdrop is pretty crazy. The hyper realism of CGI is a credit to the programmers.

Berz out.

Well keep in mind 2003 hulk had nothing to do with the other two hulks since the 2008 was a reboot movie and not a sequel. The 2008 and 2012 hulk are supposed to be the same.

Out of all the preavenger movies I feel bad for The Incredible Hulk as its the one most people don't remember or cared for. It also seems to fit the least in this avengers universe which is why the change in the Hulk was soooo different.

Also it wasn't a few years after the movies but more like 1.

I just saw The Avengers last night...
One of the best superhero movies I've seen. And I usually don't care too much for superhero movies.

I missed out on Thor. I guess I'm going to go back and watch it now.
I was surprised with all the comical relief filled in this movie. But it worked out well.

I wonder would it have been worthwhile to watch this movie on the D-BOX thing.
Has anyone tried it?

For some reason, I really liked The Incredible Hulk. I don't know why...
I liked it maybe even better than Iron-Man. It didn't have the wow factor of Iron-Man,
yet I enjoyed it more plot-wise. And I personally don't like Stark cause he's too arrogant of a character for me. Capt. A seems kind of lame.
That being said, I don't follow these superhero story's enough to know what's "canon" and what's been changed.
So I just enjoy each movie as they are on their own.

I watched it last night at Riverport. 8/10

I bought tickets on my phone for 3D AVX last min since it was half price yesterday. Apparently, the mobile phone version doesn't let you pick seats, it gives you whatever seats "is best suitable left", but I believe on computer it let's you pick the seating. NEVER BUY AVX TICKETS ON PHONE.

We ended up sitting on the second row up front, then moved to the fourth or so after a while cuz we found some empty seats. I don't like leather seats though cuz my butt get kinda hot after a while lol

Actually raybot is right. that scene with general ross and tony stark was at the end of the movie before the credits and not after.

I had a very bad first impression. I did DBox for Hunger Games. Sure, its no Avengers movie....but WTF. Didn't think it was worth paying for at all.

^in a way, two totally different genre of superhero

avengers is a more comedic route

but with dark knight, it literally is a dark superhero movie. plus more believable on how a superhero struggles with both identities

dark knight is more story compelling

avengers is more "funny"

the action in dark knight is very realistic (the technology used could very well be made eventually). i guess thats why bane doesn't look like what he is in the comics.

but with avengers its definitely more comic style (technology is impossible and so is gods, aliens and a big green giant)

in the end, we all are gonna watch them both, and we all are gonna love em both

What Marvel did with the Avengers is groundbreaking. Before Avengers, most superhero movies that took the comic, less serious route failed. Those who also tried to incorporate intergalactic elements failed as well. Movies like X-Men were too afraid to even explore that option (by not following the true phoenix story) or movies that did tried to dumb it down and make it more believable but instead made it look dumbed (fantastic four with galactis).

They know that people find it hard to accept a lot of things when superheroes are displayed in real life. That's why they try to make everything as grounded in reality. The viewer only believes it if they think "I can look out the window and see this happening in THIS reality.

What Avengers did with the 5 pre-avengers movies is slowly place you into THEIR reality. Try to make you understand that, although it may be real life, things don't work the same as the reality you live in. Now with Thor, intergalactic elements is accepted. With Ironman, we understand that their reality is much more advanced and different that it is here. Captain America altered history.

When I watched the Avengers I couldn't help but feel like it was an episode of the Avengers cartoon. It felt VERY much like a cartoon/comic. This could change the way super movies are done and now we could see things in movies that producers wouldn't even consider years ago.

I mean look at
Spoiler!

Anyways I typed all this on my phone and never went back to check my post so sorry if it made no sense.

“Avengers 2″ plans underway – IFC

Going to be an Avengers 2, with Thor 2, Iron man 3, and Captain America 2 before it. Those 3 go their own separate ways to "do some growing" then come back to the Avengers.

No love for Hulk

No love for Hulk
"In 2012's The Avengers, Mark Ruffalo began his role as Banner/Hulk. In April 2012, despite Ruffalo being on board to play the Hulk in the sequel, Feige confirmed to Collider that Marvel had "no plans right now to do another Hulk [movie]. Hulk might be just the special guest in Avengers movies, who knows?"[110] However in a Q and A session, Feige and Ruffalo confirmed that discussions are underway to produce another Hulk movie due to positive audience response to Ruffalo's performance in The Avengers.[111], that a sequel might be possible in the future, [112] and that Mark Ruffalo had signed on for six Marvel films."
