If you were there, could you be my witness of the accident and contact me through inbox ( i do not want to get into a fight with whoever defending whom, so if you are a witness you saw how the accident happened, you would know the truth and i need your word, thanks) . Ok. Small world. I don't post here much but always lurking.
You hit my brother actually. He did not run a red. It was solid green. You turned left onto Tyne and were blinded by the van that was turning left infront opposite you. instead of being safe and waiting to make sure there were no cars coming (that you could not c) you gambled and went, hittin my brother.
Any witness that was there will say the same thing. And yes he got the witness info and passed it on to icbc.

He was actually very very upset, especially since he just got The amg kit put on and a fresh paintjob, and hates retard drivers as we all do that make our roads unsate. But he felt very bad for you anet, since u were freaking out and sat down in the middle of the road and started crying about how you don't know what to do and are a foreign student and offered to pay for the damage privately. So he decided not to lose it on you. Anyways. That's what insurance is for and will b a good lesson for you to learn how to drive.
Btw, pretty pathetic and useless coming on here and sayin "he ran a red light" hoping to get "witnesses". I'm just glad you didn't severely injure him.

Cheers
j

I'm not trying to be a dick here but I find this thread kind of funny.

JigJag - Just out of curiousity, why won't your brother let OP pay it privately?

too much possibility of getting screwed over that way ... let ICBC fix it then pay ICBC privately ... much safer and no rate increase

Only the possibility of getting screwed over for OP if it is actually his fault. Cause If jigjag's brother is 100% not at fault, he could easily just take OP's money privately then report to ICBC. (Not saying that he would)

Hchang-exactly what he ^ said. That and this is why we pay premiums.
And yes. I find this thread hilarious. I was soo tempted to respond to op when she first posted but I resisted. But after that last remark I had to lay it down.

And.......

It's a write off.
Fk. It was a sweet ride.

And ya I forgot to mention that it's not wise for op to pay privately. Bro wouldn't scam her, but she's covered. Let icbc pay for it.
Btw might c some cheap, good quality audio components in the fs section soon.

I'll post a pic of the car later (b4 pic).
It's a 1999 c class, but he put serious love into it. 18" amg rims, full amg bodykit, new paint (that pearly metallic blue that Benz has) and just got the tranny rebuilt. Solid car, cheap on gas, and looked smoooth considering it was a 11 y.o. Car.

No I was not with him.

OP = pwned!

I didn't think anyone would actually come forward, since it's the Lower Mainland is pretty huge, but RS proves me wrong and delivers. Hope your brother is doing okay, Jigjag. I hope the OP is okay, too; Take this as an opportunity to learn a hard lesson in driving! Don't take stupid risks!

I'm not calling your brother a liar or anything but this story can be really biased. You trust your brother so you believe his story 100% but since you didn't see it personally, OPs story can also be true?

Umm no.
His story is factual and he's been driving for over 11 yrs with no at fault accidents (he's actually a professional driver, even has his class 1. op prolly not the case.
And yes I "believe" his "story" 100%. I c what u r trying to infer/allude to, but not the case unfortunately for op. Plus his friggen witness is the van driver that was waiting to turn. An unbiased witness who was there.
I literally haven't posted fer months, so this is indeed hilarity at it's finest.

Thanks presto. He's a tough dude, like built like a tank, but caught him completely off gaurd obviously. I don't think it would b wise to discuss further here, but Our ice hockey team has lost a good d man for the summer season.
Op I do hope you are ok too. Just be friggin careful out there and don't take stupid risks!!!
Can u imagine if my bro was not in a car but on a bike?!? Fk. Don't even wanna think bout that one.

someone call me?

on a serious note...your trying to hard to defend your brother. Anyone can make mistakes, people with 30+ years driving experience make mistakes. Just sayin'.
