acetone increase MPG

does anyone know about or use this before? adding small amounts of 100% pure acetone to ur tank when fueling up increase gas mileage. It helps vaporize fuel more efficiently in ur cambers. Generally it's nail polish remover which is rated at 150 octane, many companies package it as octane booster or fuel injector cleaner. However acetone from your drugstore is alot cheaper than octane booster and gas. Some tests shown no real damage to fuel system parts including gaskets/orings etc. however it is a solvent nonetheless. Some claim adding 10 MPG to their fuel consumption. Anyone been doing this with results?

Most independent tests have indicated that adding acetone actually decreases your fuel mileage.

It's worse than useless -- it's also harmful. Acetone is the primary ingredient in nail-polish remover. And while it will burn and is a high-octane material, it's also a very powerful solvent. So while it's in your fuel system, it'll be eagerly dissolving all of your rubber components ... like gaskets and O-rings.
if you don't care about ethanol either, then give it a go

Acetone is HIGHLY corrosive against plastics.
You are going to burn through your hoses and gaskets in no time if you do this.

Just try it with some old action figures or something.
The paint will come right off and the plastic will lose it lusture from being eaten away.

Soak that action figure in a jar with acetone overnight.
Depending on the plastic, it could crumble, get brittle, get goopy or just plain dissolve.

So how long does your fuel sit in your tank and in your hoses?

It will also make your car faster. On Daily planet there was someone who made a vinyl material that had golf ball type dimples on it.

All I could find on it
"No myth. I saw this earlier this year on a Daily Planet episode. Some Porsche 911GT race car was wrapped in a dimpled adhesive vinyl. Ran 2 or 3 seconds faster per lap on some race track. That's a very serious edge in racing."

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

With the NOAA reporting that global temperatures in the last 6
months are at its highest since 98, any legit improvement or idea
would be a breath of fresh air.

Paulownia elongata planting day anyone?
