Anyone ever try Chicken Now down in the South Gate Centre food court? One of the best fried chicken I've ever had.

My brother and I get extra chicken from LA Chicken every time I go. We're tight with the chicken lady there, she called my brother "ok looking" once.

Churches is great if you can get it fresh. However with so many "ethnic" groups working there I dont trust it "to go" anymore. The old white guys wont try to give u old chicken.

Small pieces and there is way better Korean fried chicken.

But in the end I'll eat any kind of fried chicken.

I'm not even joking but the last time I saw somebody who isn't Filipino work at Churches was over 5 years ago. I'm not trying to be funny and stereotype but I'm dead serious. With that said, I've only been to 3 locations in the last 5 years or so, Fraser and 41st, Lougheed by Gilmore, and Hastings and Nanaimo which I go to 90% of the time.

I haven't really tried Chicken World, LA, nor Have I even had KFC since Highschool. It's pretty much always Churches for me, 10 Piece Spicy Thighs + Gravy.

My other Fried Chicken fix I guess is the chinese shiet like "Fung Sa" Chicken Wings or just your regular "Jiu yeem" chicken wings. Or if you consider it then the Taiwanese "Yeem So" Chicken.

Criticizes chicken from a location and says there are better.

No mention of better places.

Amen brotha! I'll blaze at night and harsh get cravings. Because eating fried chicken in the car is a bitch I just get 4 spicy drum sticks with gravy and hold it with a napkin so no greasiness on the stearing wheel lol

Zabu Chicken
(604) 602-0021
Robson Street/West End
1635 Robson Street

They fry the chicken when ordered. Taste is pretty good. Reminds me of Lee's fried chicken. Something different from churches and kfc. It's a trek downtown though. They are open till like 2am. Serve alcohol too.

Interesting Fact: LA Chicken in Richmond used to be Lee's Chicken ... and it is hands down THE best fried chicken, it's a tad pricey but the lady there always gives extra pieces if you are nice to them so it evens out

Can't wait to try LA Chicken. Do they accept Visa/MC? Do they open late?

^ Richmond, so I'd assume it might be cash only. Doesn't hurt to bring plastic just in case.

Anyone know if Lee's Chicken in Surrey is the same as the other ones???
