Places to try out in Shanghai. Since I'm heading to Shanghai in exactly a month. What are some places I should try out while I'm there. I will update on the area I'm staying at so it's easier for people to recommend. |
Dong Bei Ren restaurant...don't remember where it was....did a google search but it looks like its closed down now http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shangh...-dong-bei-ren/ this place was the shit because it had a whole sweet and sour fish and when they brought it to you, the waiter would sing about the fish! It was a great experience!! |
Thanks Kushy! Anymore other places guys? |
I just came back from Shanghai and I can suggest 小楊生煎包. (Yang's Fried Dumpling) They have several locations, must try. I ate like 2 orders myself... :D they are that awesome. Even better than the Xiao Long Bao that SH is famous for. If you are meeting up with a couple of friends and want to eat some good quality/service Chinese food, hit up 海港. My friend's dad (who are local) brought us there. A bit on the expensive side since it's mainly seafood, but the service and food quality were top notch. We ate at several $$ restaurants in SH this trip and this is the only one that I'd rate 8.5+ on average. |
Frigin amazing Hunan food at Di Shui Dong http://www.foodtourist.com/FTGuide/Content/I2133.htm You gotta get the spicy prawn skewers, and the rack of lamb... this place is damn good! |
how long u staying there? shit im probably gonna be there in NOV. |
