What happened in my back alley?

Friday night, I heard a commotion in my backyard, so I looked out my bedroom window and was shocked to see a stranger standing on top of my garage (detached from my house). A police helicopter hovered overhead and suddenly lit up my backyard, and then I heard a police dog in the back alley. The intruder turned himself in at that point.

Is it possible to find some sort of report indicating what police incident happened in my back alley?

Call the local police non-emergency line and express your concern about what had happened, especially because it was literally way to close to home. And tell them politely that you would like to know what had happened.

That sounds like the most logical way to me.

Richmond Non-Emergency RCMP line 604-278-1212

Actually I'm in Vancouver (profile updated), so I called the VPD non-emergency number - 604-717-3321.

Since I wasn't the person who made the call to police, they couldn't tell me much. All they said was the "police were looking for someone".

Sorry, nothing too exciting/juicy...

I guess I should add that two houses away on the corner of my street is a house that troubled youths come to stay at. Apart from the occasional smell of weed in my alley, some vandalism, rare incidents of loud swearing at night, and visits by VPD cruisers sometimes, it's really a nondescript house.

Career criminals jump to high places to avoid dog bites while running from police.

Haha no... This was in the Vancouver Marpole area.

I know which house exactly you are talking about. A bunch of troubled high school kids live in this house. Graffiti in the alley sometimes, broken car windows once in a while on the cars parked on the streets nearby, and often a bunch of them hanging out in the park across their house at midnight hours. Marked VPD crown vics, unmarked crown vics, unmarked IGTF SUV's are found in the neighborhood almost every single night.

o wow which park is it by?
