There is a thread on BCSB about Richmond and a tricky part of the test there: http://bcsportbikes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=124746

I have driven this stretch of a road a few times and couldn't imagine anyone obeying the solid lines there. The dotted sections are too short, and the bus lane seems stupidly planned. Same with the HOV lane that's further north on the same road, its only a few hundred meters long and doesn't really offer much incentive to take.

In my opinion Richmond is easier than...say..bby. Richmond is mostly flats. You'd still have to obey all roads signs to pass...just like driving. I went to bby standby in November because I didn't feel like booking it a month later on limited locations and on a damp day. The tester took me on a lot of hills and I stalled once on an uphill take off. There were brown leafs on the ground in the small streets too. But again, if you just want to get a license from an easy location, then what is the point of riding a mc...you'll have to face all kinds of road conditions.

Richmond's last road test for mc is end of november then they start again in mar or april.
