I was more emotional when he went vs when Lori died.
I always wanted Lori dead cuz she was so annoying but now that she is REALLY gone its kinda sad esp because she just had that I'm a bad wife talk with rick
was wondering that too .. didnt a bunch of them swarm him when rick closed the gate or door

she's not there, and then he looks at carl, who looks ashamed, and Rick just knows. He bends over, looks at him sympathetically, wishing his son didn't have to kill his mother

but in the comics, I always wondered why anyone would follow a dirty mad men like the governor. At least in the TV show it's more believable.
It's like Michonne on the TV show. When she slices zombies with her sword it just looks too silly and comicy for TV. Not all things translate well from the page to the box.

yes but comic book governor was more blatantly evil while this one at least looks and acts like someone legit who you would follow.
I like to compare him to politicians who know how to look like the leader/hero but lie and do bad things behind closed doors.
anyways, anyone else glad that this is so different from the comics? It's like I get TWO zombies stories to follow and both give me surprises!

She gets shot running from the Guvnah's army...straight up through her abdomen and she falls on the baby, killing the baby too. Will be interesting to see if the baby makes it through this season.

Hershel got bit so he had to amputate his leg. BUT when Tdog got his forearm cut he was fine as long as it healed.

they amputated herschel but I'm surely enough of the 'virus' got into the bloodstream and into his other vital organs before the amputation occured...herschel and t-dog wouldve died the same way

I'm assuming getting bit doesn't mean you're going to turn.
The bites are lethal. The zombies are riddled with disease and virus' and saliva is an excellent way to pass something that can cause you to have a fever and die. Look at Andreas sister or Jim. The bites cause fever because there is no way of treating the biten.
I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure thats how kirkman wants it to be seen. T'Dog's bite was nasty. Do you really think he was going to live after a bite like that when no one is around to treat him?

To me, it's a little confusing. Getting bit is 100% you will turn unless you can chop it off. Makes sense.
But then the virus is already in them and when they die, they will turn. That I am curious to see if they will ever explain that one.
