I bought some at T&T before. I didnt think it tasted particularly great.. nothing special

Senna4ever 09-01-2010 12:45 AM

Fujiya has it.

Culverin 09-01-2010 01:07 AM

Yes fujiya.
I think T&T as well.

It's a neat little concept, but the drinks are among the crappiest I've ever had.

If its sangaria brand itll taste like crap. It tastes similar to 7up/sprite. Try mitsuya cider, goes awesome with edamame in the summer.

^ 1+ Sangaria's anything pretty much taste like crap.

Yeah Sangaria is the budget brand in Japan.. When you see a 100 yen drink machine in Tokyo, it's usually Sangaria (or worse!) :lol

The best melon/squash cider I've had was brewed right there with hotspring water in Arima (near Kobe, IIRC)

As for the flavour, if you've smelled those "squash" air fresheners, it's the same flavour. Obviously not as sickly sweet of course.

I don't think you'll find that Arima soda outside the little village of Arima. It's just one of those pleasures you enjoy when traveling to these places :)

candy land on top of yohan mall

I believe you can find Mitsuya Cider at Konbini-ya downtown on Robson (it's the shop with the giant Pocky outside)
