Which officer has to show up in court (speed)

If a driver receives a speeding ticket after driving through a trap whereby his or her travel speed is recorded by one officer but relayed to a second officer who actually writes the ticket, which officer has to show up in traffic court should the driver contest the ticket?

Both are needed unless the issuing Member saw the speed reading and tests that the other Member did on the instrument.

^ that's interesting.

If a dude was speeding but the cop did not give chase and decided to radio-ed another cop and he did the arrest, the initial cop would have to come ?

Yes.

Unless the conditions were that the second cop also measured your speed and did not just simply pull you over.
