Matte black TRD Widebody Supra

bro just txted me this pic....

wasn't this Jason00s2000 or whatever his username, didn't he have a red TRD widebody supra he was trying to sell for like 50 grand the other year ??

whoever bought it vinyld it and slapped on some matte black HRE's, or possibly 360 forged wheels, kinda hard to make out the blurry centercap.... In any case, truly a sick fckin car, got the looks, the speed and legendary status

Amazing machine.

1exotic 09-11-2010 10:50 PM

holy fuck.

looks perfect with that trd widebody.

and btw, this supra is originally silver without the matte black.

:jerkit:

G-spec 09-11-2010 10:55 PM

yea honestly that's a perfect looking Supra right there, it's exactly how I would modify one if I owned one

I'm sittin here right now on a saturday night, playing Wii with the wifey and even she's double taking the car, says it looks nice, and she rarely says that about anything else aside from exotics.

1exotic 09-11-2010 11:02 PM

I wonder how much was spent to build that car up from stock though, 50k + ?... depends what's under the hood.

edit: as perfect as it is, a set of the facelift 97/98 headlights would just finish it off.

jpark 09-11-2010 11:11 PM

jesus christ that looks amazing

Mkhun 09-12-2010 01:00 AM

TOO SICK

R&R 09-12-2010 05:43 AM

beyond sickkkkkkkk!

ilvtofu 09-12-2010 09:17 AM

Agree with 1exotic about the headlights

Lol you can make out some shiny bits and pieces through the vents. Not really a fan of the vents and the mesh? on the front bumper

donjalapeno 09-12-2010 09:24 AM

wurd, blackhoused headlights and tinted side markers and jesus christ it would be ballin not that its not ballin now

jing 09-12-2010 10:19 AM

2jz no shit!

This thing will decimate all after we dump about 50 grand into it. Overnight parts from Japan if we have to

shenmecar 09-12-2010 11:43 AM

i wanna see under the hood!

tofu1413 09-12-2010 12:36 PM

hmm...

i think it wouldve looked nicer in matte white... or the stock super white IV color..

a different set of wheels would be nice too...

still a nice kit though.

matte white is hard to maintain, especially vinyl.

I think the black looks pretty good on this car.

super hard, vinyl is hard and paint is even harder. I have a white satin semi gloss finish on my car and still have dirt on it from over a year ago I haven't been able to get off.

finally given up and will be taking my car over to AutoWerks once I get it back on the road for a full detail. The most important thing I need to do is degrease and really cleanse the paint well, then maybe they can use some kind of special sealant or wax made for matte paint.

I have a friend with a matte white (paint) corvette and porsche (vinyl) he told me he uses the mr.clean magic eraser. Maybe give it a try?
