Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D

The Movie will be using the Stereoscopic camera to film the movie. The one James Cameron used for Avatar..

I think i will go watch it... I dont have a 3D TV so i guess the theaters will do for now..

Saw the movie today and came out thinking I had just watched a new Matrix sequel.

I didn't have much in the way of expectations for this movie, and I was at least pleasantly surprised. The RE movies have always been a bit campy (with the exception of Extinction), and this one was definitely in line with the rest of the series. The plot was alright, the action sequences were decent, and the CG was, for the most part, good... but the 3D... well, I'm still not convinced by it. It's still too much of a gimmick, IMO.

Spoiler!

Didn't Carlos commit suicide in Resident Evil Extinction? Anyways, as a sci-fi action film I think it was good, as a Resident Evil film I think it was horrible. http://www.phelous.com/reviews does a lengthy review of the movie and is pretty much bang on. *the link contains major spoilers and is almost 30mins long.

Ah dammit, you're right. It was just K-Mart, Claire and a bunch of other random survivors. Damn, it's been a while since I've watched Extinction...

yea, they'r moving away from zombies. There r just way too many zombie movies out there. As an aside, where's Jill? LJ & Carlos made it to Extinction, Jill & Angela (the little girl) disappeared.

It has nothing to do with there being to many zombie movies out there, Paul W.S. Anderson just wanted to toss in a whole bunch of shit from the Resident Evil 5 game, like Las Plagas, the Executioner, mind control devices, Chris Redfield, and Jill Valentine with blond hair and a mind control device. Oded Fehr would've made a better Chris Redfield.

Saw it today. Worth watching if you're a fan of the franchise, but otherwise just a decent film.
